Let me break my blogging silence by sharing about (finally) being back to the land down under. The long wait has finally ended! hahaha
Was so worried that the visa was not gonna be granted, for many personal reasons, but turned out, it was approved and I was granted with double pass. Woohoo.
Baby, I've come home to see you.
As much of a tourist as I was, I managed to snap 1000 photos of mostly utterly random stuffs. Hahaha. Sydney has always been a more comfortable place to live in. Being there reminds me of the serenity I used to have before I decided to come back. The only regret is that I didn't fight to stay there 7 years ago. hehe. At the beginning of my visit, I actually thought it was somewhat closure for me, to be able to finally move on from the idea of wanting to be there for good. Turned out, it was like rekindling an old flame. A different kinda life I wished I had even if I had to ride the bus everywhere, or do my own cooking and laundry.
Here is my cutie darling who had accommodated me during my 2-week-long stay and showed me around.

Such sweet friends!!!
A couple of beautiful friends actually gave me n bb such a thoughtful gift for our engagement and early housewarming. It was our favourite shot of the engagement night by the multi-talented lady herself in a frame that she and Johan had picked up for us. Not only that, a random gerbera on a Sunday night made my night a special one. Thank You, Johan and Titin.
The photo frame on the left was from bb "to reminisce the old memories of our more playful days."
The red bear's from Indri n Vian from their trip last year to Korea "red for sexy"
Hahaha! I'm surrounded by the sweetest people, really. Lucky me.

Life's pretty random these few days.
.Joined the yearly gym at Cemara Asri with some cousins and won a lucky dip for another year of gym for free! ..Will be arranging a picnic with some friends, soon-ish. ...Decide to apply for my visa few weeks earlier. Wish me luck! ....Went on a date for the first time after the proposal.
Throughout all my plenty-of-overflowing-hormones-days, I've always wanted to be proposed (international one knee on the ground style, not the chinese tradition with stacked canned goods style) and that it had to be so special that I'd re-tell the stories again and again to my kids in the future.
On our 5yearversarie, it turned out to be the that night -the best night of my 26+ years of life. It was initially our ladies' night out for partially celebrating Winda's hens night.
It turned out to be my SURPRISE ENGAGEMENT night! HAHAHA! Though it was the least expected place to be proposed, I was soooo ecstatic! The day that changed my life forever. Halfway through of becoming MRS WILLY ANG!
I was told about the preparation that involved friends of five. Indeed it was magnificent, the whole process. It was always difficult to give me surprises, I would kaypo-ly try to dig infos out, but this time, I was completely caught off guard. My latent emotion, of course, makes everything else seemed so unnatural. I had always thought if I was proposed, I would cry my eyes out on the spot. Not that his effort for everything that night wasn't impressive, I just couldn't cry. When I rewatched the whole thing the next day, the tear rolled down my cheeks instantly. The effort itself was super, super touching. I couldn't be grateful enough when I heard about the whole process of getting that night ready. All the lies they had to tell for not allowing me know anything, all the effort and the hard work gave me goosebumps just even thinkin about it. The rundown of the 10-15 minutes show, the music, the whole gank of friends, even my sister showed up. The best surprise one has ever given me man!
"Never has it ever crossed my mind to meet a woman like you A woman who fully accepts me for who I am I know I am not the easiest man to be with but you stood by me through thick and thin You are a soul mate, a best friend and a teacher. You taught me to wear loafers, slim cut jeans and to eat sushi! Being with you has made me realise one thing: my search for 'the one' is over. Deep in my heart I know you are the woman I wanna be with for the rest of my life.I cannot picture myself growing old without you. Devia Djohan, will you marry me?"
Special thanks to Christine Biantoro for putting together such a great short videography, Winda n Niko for engaging with the Entrance Management and DJ, Johan and Teguh for the ride and ideas, and of course finally, to Willy Ang for putting all these together with some other beautiful friends of ours.
